The Midtown Remodeling Process

Our Remodeling Process helps serve you so that your remodeling project will turn out the way you expect it to – with little stress and worry!

#1.  It starts on the first call to our office.  We will talk to you about your project and what your needs and expectation are.  We will ask you several questions to see how best to serve you.  Through this discussion we will determine what the next steps are and whether an appointment is needed.  Please know that this call will be 15-20 minutes long.

#2. Within a day of the phone conversation we will email you our “What To Expect At Our First Meeting” document. This document will help you prepare for our upcoming meeting.

#3. In our face-to-face meeting we will dig deeper into your project. We will have a more detailed decision about the project and what your needs and wants are.

#4. We will create a Preliminary Project Proposal based on all the information that has been collected.

#5. Once the Preliminary Project Proposal is completed we will meet either at your home or at our shop to go over it.  We will go through the proposal in-depth and explain how your process works if you decide to move forward with Midtown Craftsmen.

#6. At this point we have listened, designed, figured, and presented you options for your project and we can move in three directions:

a.  A down payment and signed contract.
b. Design retainer (if needed.)
c. The decision is made that we are not a good fit for each other and we respectfully and sincerely thank you for your time and interest, and wish you the best with your project.

#7.  Once design and plans are finalized and approved, a scope of work is developed along with the schedule with start dates.
